PEEPS, the candy brand popular for its chick-shaped marshmallow, is adding new flavors and varieties to its product offerings just in time for Easter.
PEEPS is releasing 7 new flavors of its marshmallow chicks. These are pancakes and syrup, cotton candy, orange sherbet dipped in crème fudge, root beer float, blue raspberry, vanilla crème, and chocolate caramel swirl.
The pancakes and syrup, cotton candy, and orange sherbet flavors will be available in all retailers nationwide, while the root beer float flavored marshmallow chicks will be exclusively sold to Kroger Family of Stores; the blue raspberry flavor to Walmart; and the vanilla crème and the chocolate caramel swirl flavors to Target.
The orange sherbet, the vanilla crème, and the chocolate caramel swirl marshmallow chicks will be sold in packs of 3, while the 4 other flavors will come in packs of 10.
PEEPS has also introduced 2 new candies: flavored jelly beans and solid milk chocolate bunnies. The PEEPS-flavored jelly beans will be sold exclusively at Kroger in three different assortments of flavors: strawberry and marshmallow, lemon and marshmallow, and blueberry and marshmallow. Two bags of jelly beans sell for $5.
PEEPS’ solid milk chocolate bunnies, meanwhile, are wrapped in pastel-colored foils: yellow, pink, and blue. Each has a price tag of about $3.75 to $5.50 depending on the retailer.
Just Born, the maker of PEEPS, has also teamed up with coffee creamer brand International Delight for a PEEPS-flavored coffee creamer. Just Born has also come up with a PEEPS-flavored cereal with marshmallows in collaboration with Kellogg’s.
Additionally, PEEPS has also partnered up with FUNKO, Random House Children’s Books, MLB and more to produce non-edible PEEPSONALITY themed items for families to enjoy this Easter.
