How Disney Princesses and other fictional characters would dress in real life

These vintage outfits are inspired by Ariel, Snow White, and other pop culture icons

Twin sisters Danielle and Nicole love dressing up so much that they opened their own vintage clothing shop called Betty Berry. To help promote the fashion pieces they sell, the models-turned-business owners create head-to-toe outfits inspired by popular fictional characters. This marketing campaign started with the siblings imagining what Disney Princesses would look like if they were dressed in vintage clothing, and has since expanded to feature retro attires based on other characters from Disney, Cartoon Network, MGM, and many others. Take a look at some of the duo’s amazing fashion creations in the slideshow below:

Inspired by Belle’s primary outfit from Disney’s 1991 animated classic Beauty and the Beast, this casual getup is perfect for the spring and summer. The character’s white long-sleeved shirt from the movie is brought to life in the form of a similar top with a puritan-like collar. And instead of completing Belle’s signature attire with a blue sleeveless dress, the twins opt for a pair of blue denim overalls for a more casual look.
