A real-life Tiana’s Palace is set to open at Disneyland Park very soon.
Tiana’s Palace is the restaurant that Tiana dreams of opening in the 2009 Disney animated film The Princess and the Frog. That dream becomes a reality at the end of the movie, and now, the fictional restaurant is going to be part of the actual world.
Disney Parks’ plans to bring Tiana’s Palace to life were first revealed at the D23 Expo in September 2022 when eagle-eyed fans noticed that the blueprint for the upcoming Tiana’s Bayou Adventures attraction at Disneyland included signage for the iconic restaurant. Disney Parks didn’t confirm the speculations at the time, but last week, Kelsey Lynch — public relations director at Disneyland Resort — confirmed in a blog post that a real-life version of the eatery is indeed coming to life at Disneyland Park.
About Disneyland’s Tiana’s Palace
The construction of the restaurant is part of the theme park’s efforts to tell more stories about Tiana at Disneyland’s New Orleans Square. The impending erection of Tiana’s Palace will follow the 2022 opening of Eudora’s Chic Boutique Featuring Tiana’s Gourmet Secrets, a new retail shop at Disneyland that Tiana opened with her mother, Eudora. The 2023 opening of Tiana’s Palace, meanwhile, will serve as a front act for the highly anticipated opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Disneyland in 2024.
Location
Tiana’s Palace will be the newest restaurant on Disneyland’s Orleans Street. It will replace the French Market Restaurant, which will be closed beginning February 17th, 2023 to give way for the construction of the new dining spot.

Disneyland’s Tiana’s Palace will have peach-colored walls and fancy green wrought-iron balconies inspired by the movies. Guests will also find elegant fixtures in and out of the restaurant, as well as appointments reminiscent of Tiana’s life and friendships.
Unfortunately for fans who love to take pictures with Disney characters while eating, Tiana’s Palace is not a character dining location, so visitors can’t take photos with Tiana or Louis while dining. Guests, however, may find Tiana roaming around New Orleans Square.
Menu
Tiana’s Palace will offer authentic New Orleans flavors inspired by Tiana’s friends and adventures in the movie. Lynch noted that the menu at Tiana’s Palace will expand on many of the current favorites served in New Orleans Square and explore seasonal flavors.
When will Tiana’s Place open at Disneyland?
Tiana’s Place doesn’t have an exact release date yet. But as mentioned above, it is expected to welcome guests later this year.
