The 2023 Grammys is right around the corner, and if you’re planning to host a viewing party with friends and family for music’s biggest night of the year, below are some of the most important things you need to know about the event.

Where can I see the Grammys for free?

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony will be held at the Arena in Los Angeles on February 5th, 2023 from 8:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. ET. The 2023 Grammys will recognize the best recordings, compositions, and artists in the music industry of the eligibility year, running from October 1st, 2021 to September 30th, 2022. The awards show will broadcast live on the CBS Television Network, so you can watch it for free with a TV antenna.

Can I stream the Grammys?

If a TV antenna doesn’t work for you or you don’t have cable, you can watch a live stream of the awards show on, where you can catch all the performances, acceptance speeches, as well as backstage excitement, red-carpet interviews, and more.

You can also stream live the Grammy Awards on Paramount+. However, streaming Music’s Biggest Night on the platform is not free, as you need to have at least a monthly subscription to be able to watch the event. Paramount+’s Essential Plan (with limited commercial breaks) costs $4.99/month or $49.99/year, while the streamer’s Premium Plan (no commercial breaks) costs $9.99/month or $99.9/year.

Since CBS is also streaming on YouTube TV ($11.99/month), Apple TV+ ($6.99/month), Hulu + Live TV ($69.99/month), fuboTV ($74.99/month), and Sling TV ($40/month), people who have subscriptions to these streaming services can also watch the Grammy Awards live.

How can I watch the Grammys after it airs?

If you missed the live broadcast of the Grammy Awards, you can watch it on demand on Paramount+ as long as you have a subscription to the service. It’s not clear, however, whether the other abovementioned streaming services will make the award show available for on-demand viewing after its live broadcast.

How can I watch the Grammys if I’m outside the U.S.?

CBS is only available in the United States, Canada, and Australia. If you don’t live in any of these countries, you can still watch the Grammys live by using a VPN, like NordVPN. With a VPN, you can connect to a server in any of the countries that are broadcasting the Grammys. The VPN will then assign you an IP address from that country, which will then bypass the geo-restrictions for you, allowing you to watch the Grammys as it happens.

Who is hosting the 2023 Grammys?

The 65th Annual Grammy Awards will be hosted by Trevor Noah, a former presenter of the Comedy Central program The Late Show. This will be the third consecutive year the comedian will host the Grammys, as he also served as the show’s main master of ceremonies in 2021 and 2022.
