The ultimate dream of every NERF fan is about to come true. In just less than two months, NERF Challenge, a new live entertainment touring event produced by toy company Hasbro and live events entertainment company Kilburn Media, will be making its world premiere in Los Angeles.
Debuting at the Event Deck at L.A. Live on December 7th, NERF Challenge is a live attraction that brings the action and competitive fun of the NERF brand into a 50,000-square-foot action-packed play area that features a variety of adrenaline-pumping challenges designed to test the concentration, dexterity, speed and accuracy of each guest.
Running through January 5th, 2020, NERF Challenge features interactive activations centered on NERF’s iconic blasters and sports products. Below are some of the activations that visitors can experience on launch day:
#1 Dodge Blast
Pick a partner and together storm a fortified position held by your friends or family. To accumulate points, you and your buddy should hit stationary targets using NERF blasters all while avoiding a barrage of darts from above.
#2 The Arenas
Grab a blaster and take your team to victory in one of the three custom themed 4,500-square-foot NERF arenas: Urban Playground, Strange Cargo, and Blast Man Standing.
#3 Colossal Foosball
Compete with your friends or family in this life-sized game of foosball.
#4 Wrecking Bowling
Become a human wrecking ball with the sole purpose of scoring the elusive strike.
#5 Try-athlon Ninja Style Circuit Course
Put your speed and agility to the test with this soft play obstacle course.
There’s also a giant stage in the center of the attraction. It’s going to be the venue of different live shows and daily events, including demos, giveaways, contests, and special surprise guest visits.
Tickets for the attraction’s Los Angeles run will officially go on sale on October 28th. But due to anticipated demand, fans can register to receive first access to a limited quantity of tickets on www.NERFChallenge.com.
Following its initial Los Angeles run, NERF Challenge will be rolling out across multiple cities in the U.S. and Canada over the next year. Fans can also vote for future tour markets on the website, which will be updated with the experience’s schedule.
