Super Mario has had a very busy year so far celebrating his 35th anniversary. The iconic Nintendo franchise has already launched numerous new products and partnerships that range from the likes of shoes, to toys, and even a full clothing line. And now, Amazon is joining in on the celebration by randomly shipping items to its customers inside of adorable Super Mario-themed boxes.
Listed on Nintendo’s Missions page, the announcement reads that these branded boxes will be available only in limited quantities and will be given away while supplies last. There’s no upping your chances of getting one either by buying Nintendo products, as the company says that this will not be a factor in choosing who gets the special boxes. This holds true in buying expensive items on Amazon as well.
Along with the special edition boxes, Amazon has put up a special Super Mario Bros. 35th anniversary page on their site. The page features various products and fun facts about the franchise and a timeline as well. You can also earn 100 Platinum Points from Nintendo if you complete the mission call-out that is hidden on the Amazon page.
