After the successful launch of its Fingerlings toy line in 2017, consumer robotics manufacturer WowWee has recently introduced a new toy range that will definitely be a hit with kids everywhere. Called Lucky Fortune, this toy line is a selection of blind, collectible charm bracelets that are designed to inspire luck.
Each charm bracelet is packaged inside a toy fortune cookie that can be turned into a keychain. When the toy fortune cookie is cracked open, the charm bracelet will reveal itself, along with a paper fortune, which features six lucky numbers and a message that promotes fun, kindness, and optimism, among many others.
Meant to be collected or traded with friends, Lucky Fortune features over 100 trendy charms across five categories: happiness, friendship, love, success, and adventure. The charms are also divided into four groups depending on rarity — Lucky, Very Lucky, Very Very Lucky, and Ultra Lucky —including the extra-rare four-leaf clover that is dipped in real gold.
Sample paper fortune messages include “Leave a little sparkle wherever you go,” “Spread laugh and laughter,” “Good luck is coming your way,” and more. The Lucky Fortune Collector’s Guide that also comes with each charm turns into a foldable paper fortune teller that kids will surely love.
Exactly a week after the Lucky Fortune’s U.S. launch on May 31st, WowWee also dropped the first episode of its new YouTube series, Just My Luck. Each episode of the series tackles tween issues, including tough classes, crushes, bullying, and family disagreements that are always resolved in a fun, unexpected way, with the luck and magic of the Lucky Fortune bracelets.
The Lucky Fortune bracelets are now available at Walmart and Claire’s stores for $3.99 each. A 4-pack “Take-out Box” variant of the toy line is also available at Walmart for $11.88. The toy line will roll out to other major retailers like Amazon and Target in July.
