LEGO is releasing 5 new Star Wars sets in celebration of this year’s 20th anniversary of LEGO Star Wars.
Each of these 5 new sets features an iconic vehicle from the Star Wars franchise and includes a 20th anniversary collectible minifigure as a tribute to the history of the product line. Originally launched in 1999, LEGO Star Wars was the first LEGO product line featuring a licensed property.
The most affordable set in the new collection is the Imperial Dropship set. With a price tag of $19.99, this 125-piece set comes with 3 stormtroopers and a shadow trooper. This set also includes a 20th anniversary Han Solo minifigure.
If you’re a fan of young Darth Vader, then the Anakin’s Podracer set would be perfect for you. In addition to the Anakin Skywalker minifigure, this 279-piece set also comes with a Padmé Amidala minifigure and a 20th anniversary Luke Skywalker minifigure. This set will be sold for $29.99.
The LEGO Star Wars 20th anniversary collection also includes the 250-piece Clone Scout Walker set, which comes with an AT-RT Walker, a Dwarf Spider Droid, a Wookie warrior minifigure, and a Kashyyyk Trooper minifigure. Completing the $29.99 set is a 20th anniversary Darth Vader minifigure.
You can also recreate the Battle of Hoth from the Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back with the collection’s Snowspeeder set. Comprised of 309 pieces, this $39.99 set includes a Luke Skywalker minifigure, a Dak Ralter minifigure, and a 20th anniversary Lando Calrissian minifigure.
The priciest in the collection is the Slave I set. In addition to Boba Fett’s attack craft, this $119.99 set includes a Han Solo minifigure, three enemy minifigures, and a 20th anniversary Princess Leia minifigure.
The LEGO Star Wars 20th anniversary collection will be available at all LEGO brand retail stores and shop.lego.com later this year.
