Beyonce‘s Ivy Park has teamed up once again with its frequent collaborator Adidas for a new collection of apparel and shoes inspired by love.
Officially called Ivy Heart, the latest collab between the two brands revolves around the color red. In Western countries, red is commonly associated with love, romance, and sensuality. While in the East, red is attributed to good fortune and joy. With Ivy Heart, Ivy Park and Adidas hope to bring people from all different backgrounds together through the red color, which is sentimental to many.
Featuring a bold and sexy theme, the Ivy Heart collection consists of 30 apparel styles, 10 accessories, and 5 footwear styles in various shades of red, including Candy Paint (Shock Pink), Lipstick Smudge (Red), Raspberry Beret (Power Red), and Red Whine (Cherry Wood).
Marrying Beyonce’s love of athleticism and fashion with Adidas’ performance and innovation, the collection’s apparel items include a velour dress, tracksuit, faux latex puffer, pique jumpsuit, sequin duster ($300), and a latex parka ($250). The accessories, meanwhile, include a clutch, a heart-lip belt bag, ($90), and a latex baseball cap ($40).
As for the collection’s footwear, the range is comprised of both on-the-court and off-duty models. It includes a new iteration of the classic Stan Smith sneaker ($110) in Cheeks (Off-White), and the brand-new Superstar Plim ($150), a mule style shoe inspired by the iconic Adidas Superstar in Cheeks (Off-White). Ivy Heart’s shoe lineup also features a new colorway of the Savage sneaker ($180) in Cheeks (Off-White), a Swim Slide ($50) in Lipstick Smudge (Red), and an Ultra boost ($200) in Candy Paint (Shock Pink).
Set to drop online at adidas.com on February 9th and in select stores globally on February 10th ― just in time for Valentine’s Day, the Ivy Park x Adidas Ivy Heart Drop 5.5 collection boasts a marketing campaign led by a diverse cast of models, including Karrueche Tran, Tyson Beckford, Troye Sivan, Shu Pei, and Naomi Watanabe.
