If you don’t have the skills, equipment, or patience needed to make your own Oreo mousse, then you can satisfy your craving with this prepackaged Oreo mousse available at Walmart.
Called Oreo Mousse Dessert, this sweet treat was recently spotted by Instagram user @snackgator in the deli freezer section of a Walmart store. According to the description on the packaging, the dessert is a “creamy mousse mixed with Oreo cookie pieces on top of an Oreo cookie crumb.” A rep for Oreo confirmed to Popsugar that the mousse is made with cream cheese, sugar, and crumbly Oreo cookie pieces.
The Oreo Mousse Dessert comes in 16-ounce/1-pound tubs that cost $6 each. And based on comments on @snackgator’s Instagram post, the dessert is also available in smaller cups, which are perfect for those who want to pack it as a snack or simply taste test it.
While no one would judge you if you eat the mousse straight from the tub, the dessert can also serve as a dip for fruits, pretzels, and marshmallows. It can also be added to cakes and other similar pastries, and makes a great substitute for a dirt pudding.
Apparently, the Oreo Mousse Dessert has been out for a while, and according to those who have tried it, it’s definitely a must-try.
