There are still two months to go before Easter, but stores have already started filling their shelves with seasonal treats in preparation for the festive holiday. One of the early comers is Oreo’s new Easter cookies, which are sure to be a hit with the whole family, especially with kids who love sweets.
Dubbed as Oreo Easter Hop Cookies, these limited-edition kosher treats consist of the chocolate sandwich cookies you know and love. But instead of being filled with the brand’s classic white creme, these Oreos are stuffed with pastel green creme that is undeniably perfect for the Easter season. Though the pastel green creme has the same taste as the original white filling, the cookies are decorated with five Easter designs, including bunnies, Easter eggs, and prints and patterns normally found on an Easter egg.
Oreo Easter Hop Cookies come in 12.2-ounce resealable packs with easy-pull tabs, which contain about 24 cookies each. With a starting price of $3.79 per pack, this new Easter-themed Oreo variety is now available at retail stores across the country and online shops like Target and Amazon.
A must-have for Easter celebrations big and small, Oreo Easter Hop Cookies are meant to be shared with friends and family. Because of their size, these cookies also make perfect Easter basket fillers for kids and kids at heart alike.
Oreo’s Easter offerings have been unpredictable since 2017. That year, the cookie brand released a pink Peeps flavor, which was followed by purple Peeps cookies in 2018. In 2019, Oreo introduced egg-shaped cookies with purple filling, which the brand brought back in 2020 but in a pastel pink color.
