The Office fans only have until December 31st to watch the beloved sitcom on Netflix, because starting January 1st, the series will exclusively stream on Peacock.

Peacock announced on Monday that all 201 episodes of The Office will arrive on the NBCUniversal-owned streaming service on the very first day of 2021. Aside from the original version of the show that aired on NBC from 2005 to 2013, Superfan Episodes will also be available to stream on Peacock. A Superfan Episode is an extended cut of an original episode, which includes never-before-seen footage and deleted scenes like the video below:

“Having The Office back in the NBC family opens up access to a lot of extra content that we originally shot,” series creator Greg Daniels said in a statement. “The team at Peacock wanted to create the ultimate destination for fans, so I went back into the dailies with the original editors of the show and found some never-before-seen footage that was cut for time but is still fun to see.”

Daniels continued: “You can choose to watch the classic version of the show, or the superfan extended cuts with this new footage and other deleted scenes that we are gradually rolling out, starting with season 3. The experience on Peacock should feel like a celebration of The Office for fans.”

In addition to episodic content, fans will also be treated to various behind-the-scenes footage, including bloopers, featurettes, and interviews.

Peacock will also offer curated themed episode collections such as the best of the Scranton branch holiday parties and favorite appearances by guest visitors for easy viewing. There will also be clip playlists that chronicle pranks, best office romances, and office words of wisdom.

Spanish-speaking fans will also get to enjoy The Office more, as Spanish audio and Spanish closed captions will be available for both the original series and Superfan Episodes starting in February.

The catch, however, is that only the first two seasons of The Office will be free to watch. Seasons 3-9, as well as the Superfan Episodes, will be available on Peacock Premium, which is available for $4.99/month. All The Office content will also be available on ad-free tier Peacock Premium Plus, which is priced at $9.99/month.

As revealed in June 2019, Peacock will retain exclusive domestic streaming rights to The Office for five years, paying $100 million to producer Universal Television per year to stream the series.

An adaptation of the 2001–2003 BBC series of the same name, The Office depicts the everyday work lives of office employees in the Scranton, Pennsylvania branch of the fictional Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. It stars Steve Carell as Michael Scott, Rainn Wilson as Dwight Schrute, John Krasinski as Jim Halpert, Jenna Fisher as Pam Beesly, B.J. Novak as Ryan Howard, and Ed Helms as Andy Bernard.
