Oreo has finally arrived in the metaverse and they have a new limited-edition cookie to celebrate.
Today, January 24th, Oreo introduced a cookie called the Most Oreo Oreo, which launched along with the brand’s first-ever metaverse experience, the Oreoverse.
What is the Most Oreo Oreo?
The Most Oreo Oreo is described as the brand’s most playful cookie to date. It features two chocolate-flavored basecakes with “Most Stuf” levels of creme, which, for the first time ever, has real Oreo grind mixed in.
Available for a limited time only, the Most Oreo Oreo can be pre-ordered starting today on Oreo.com and will begin rolling out to retailers across the country starting January 30th.
What is the Oreoverse?
As previously mentioned, the Oreoverse is a metaverse experience that allows fans to play multiple levels of cookie-themed games for a chance to win prizes, including a $50,000 grand prize. Oreoverse games available at launch include “Stack Stuf” where players will build the Most Oreo Oreo cookie, and “Rocket Stuf” where fans will inflate the Most Oreo Oreo cookie and aim for the stars.

By scanning the pack, they will ‘dunk into’ the new Oreoverse world.”
Beginning today, fans can enter the Oreoverse in Meta Horizon Worlds using their Meta Quest 2 or Meta Quest Pro headsets, or via mobile phones or desktop computers by visiting Oreoverse.Oreo.com. And on Monday, January 30th at 10 a.m. ET, Oreo lovers can tune in @OREO on Facebook or @OREO on Instagram to watch their fellow Oreo fan and homemaking icon, Martha Stewart, embark on an adventure on the Oreoverse.
A self-admitted metaverse novice, Stewart will explore the Oreo-inspired virtual reality world, with her gardener and good friend, Ryan McCallister, to give fans an inside look at the Oreoverse.
“I am excited to make my metaverse debut in partnership with one of my favorite cookie brands, Oreo, and having Ryan there with me will make it all the more fun,” said Stewart in a statement. “The two of us have had our fair share of adventures over the last 10 years and have been able to navigate just about anything together, especially in the garden!”
