The newest Samsung Galaxy Fold and Flip devices are finally here! Samsung is offering some great incentives when you pre-order the devices.
How to get the best pre-order deals
Up to $900 in Trade-in Credit will be rewarded to customers who reserved early or are considered Samsung Loyalists. All others can receive up to $800 in Trade-in Credit instead.
Pre-ordering will also grant an additional $200 (Galaxy Fold 3) or $150 (Galaxy Flip 3) in free e-credit for customers to use to purchase additional items. The e-credit can be used for accessories or towards other Samsung devices. Additional perks include getting 36 months of Care+ for the price of 24 months with no payment for the first 12 months.
Users on the fence can take part in Samsung’s Try Before You Buy program to get a feel of the device. Payment will only be collected after 21 days with the device. Additionally, Samsung is offering 0% APR with no downpayment for customers who opt for Samsung Financing.
About the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G and Z Fold 3 5G
Announced during the recent Samsung Unpacked event, the company has introduced the newest iteration of its folding phones. Receiving both an internal and external refresh, the Galaxy Z Flip 3G now offers increased durability and improved performance.
The Z Flip is now equipped with IPX8 water resistance and a brand new 1.1-inch screen upfront which Samsung calls its cover display. Flip it open to reveal a 6.7-inch screen with an upgraded 120Hz refresh rate. Internally it’s powered by a dependable Snapdragon 865+ along with 8GB of RAM and a choice between 128GB or 256GB storage.
We’re still getting the same battery and 15W charging from the previous iteration. We’re also getting camera specs that are quite similar. The Galaxy Z Flip 3G now comes in a number of colors including Phantom Black, Lavender, Green, and Cream.
Alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G is the announcement of the bigger and more premium Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G. It showcases some prominent hardware upgrades though, like the Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G, we’re getting similar specs on some aspects of the phone.
Most notable of the upgrades is the company’s first-ever Under Display Camera that maximizes the device’s screen real estate to full. Samsung also boasts of that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G is equipped with the company’s strongest aluminum frame for added protection and increased durability.
Internally, it’s packing a flagship Snapdragon 888 processor with 12GB of RAM and an option for 128GB or 256GB for storage. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 5G now also supports Samsung’s S-Pen which was something lacking in the previous iteration.
