Studio VR metaverse game lets you compose music with your hands

Experience what it’s like to be an orchestra conductor in VR

Studio VR is using the metaverse to teach you how to be an orchestra conductor.

Designed to be a classical music game, Studio VR has developed an immersive virtual reality experience where you can conduct classical music just as if you are practicing as an orchestra conductor – all without the use of a separate sensor or hand controller. That means you can compose music with your hand gestures – just like the pros do.

Studio VR has two modes: A training mode, where you can really learn how to be a music conductor, and a gaming mode, where you can have fun creating music.

The Studio VR Family has managed to make classical music visual in an interactive way, while also offering lots of educational value. To that effect, the game also teaches you about pieces of classical music by sharing backstories about the composers and the piece being played. Currently, the game offers pieces and tidbits from Beethoven, Dvorak, and Brahms, with plenty of composers on the way.

In addition to experiencing the feeling of being a conductor, Studio VR will also be launching games that allow you to learn to play the piano and other string instruments. When learning how to play the piano with Studio VR, you’ll be able to use any physical piano that you have on hand.

Currently, Studio VR is available for Meta Quest 2, but the company has plans to launch on Steam too. The game is being developed in Korea and is currently looking for backing on Kickstarter.
