Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace is the only Star Wars movie released in the 1990s, and since it came out at the very end of the decade, in 1999 to be exact, there appears to be a lack of Star Wars merchandise that packs the iconic ‘90s style. In an effort to fix that, Disney has created a new line of apparel called Star Wars Meets the ‘90s Collection.
What is Star Wars Meets the ‘90s Collection?
Launched on Wednesday, April 19th, the Star Wars Meets the ‘90s Collection, is an assortment of clothing pieces featuring some of the most iconic lines, characters, starships, and weapons from the epic space opera franchise, with a touch of unmistakable ‘90s fashion trends.

Star Wars Meets the ‘90s Pullover Sweatshirt for Women
Priced at $54.99, this soft fleece top features Chewbacca and the Millennium Falcon on the front and the saga’s famous introductory line, “A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away …”, spelled out in a classic ‘90s font, on the back. It also features ribbed cuffs and hem, a fleece fabrication interior, and a Star Wars label on the side seam, depicting two clashing lightsabers.
Star Wars Darth Vader Denim Jacket for Adults
