Oreo has recently announced that it is rolling out two new limited-edition flavors: salted caramel brownie and apple cider donut.
The cookie brand officially introduced the two new additions to its product offerings during a live press conference on Twitter last Thursday.

The Salted Caramel Brownie Oreo is a combination of sweet and savory. Featuring Oreo’s original chocolate wafers, this new variety includes two layers of crème: one brownie-flavored and one caramel-flavored. To counter-balance the sweetness, the chocolate wafers are sprinkled with a touch of salt. According to Delish, Salted Caramel Brownie Oreos will be available wherever you find Oreos starting this month.
The Apple Cider Donut Oreo, meanwhile, will hit retail stores across the U.S. in August, a rep for the cookie brand confirmed to Best Products. This new Oreo variety features a single layer of apple cider-flavored crème placed between two golden cookies ― perfect to enjoy with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or consumed with a cup of hot cocoa around a campfire.
This won’t be the first time Oreo has released an apple-flavored variety. Back in 2017, the company launched Oreo Apple Pie cookies, which were made with Golden Oreos and apple pie-flavored crème filling. The Apple Cider Donut Oreo, however, is expected to be slightly different from the Apple Pie Oreos. Since donuts are typically coated in a sugar and cinnamon mixture, the Apple Cider Donut Oreos are expected to be packed with more sweetness.
The announcement of the new two limited-edition Oreos comes just a week after the cookie brand took to social media to tease an upcoming collaboration with Pokémon. Oreo shared a cryptic 8-second video on Twitter, suggesting that it is developing a new cookie sandwich based on the popular Japanese media franchise.
