Netflix’s Narcos franchise has just gotten bigger.
On Tuesday, the streaming service officially launched the mobile game, Narcos: Cartel Wars Unlimited. Based on the hit Netflix series, the new online strategy game lets you lead your own cartel, build your empire, gain power, and destroy enemies.
Players of Narcos: Cartel Wars Unlimited will learn the ins and outs of running a cartel from drug lord El Patron, including the many ways of maintaining a scheming relationship with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
Narcos: Cartel Wars Unlimited features various sicarios that users can hire and different resources that they can take advantage of to strengthen their defenses against other cartels. Gamers can also opt to take a more violent direction by sending death squads to other cartels with the goal of conquering their assets and territories, all in the name of earning more revenues. To make the game more exciting, players can choose to team up with other players to take over enemy groups in multi-day campaigns.
Developed by game publisher Tilting Point, Narcos: Cartel Wars Unlimited is available in the following languages: Arabic, Chinese (Traditional), English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Spanish (Castilian), Spanish (Latin America), Swedish, and Turkish.

About Netflix’s Narcos
Created and produced by Chris Brancato, Carlo Bernard, and Doug Miro, Netflix’s Narcos is based on the story of Colombian narco-terrorist and drug kingpin Pablo Escobar (Wagner Moura), the leader of the Medellin Cartel who became a billionaire through the production and distribution of cocaine.
Launched in November 2018, the series, in its first two seasons, centers on Escobar’s interactions with drug lords, DEA agents, and other opposition entities. The third and final season of the show, meanwhile, picks up after the fall of Escobar and continues to follow the DEA as they try to shut down the rise of the infamous Cali Cartel.
The series, which debuted in August 2015 and concluded in September 2017, stars Wagner Moura, Boyd Holbrook, Pedro Pascal, Joanna Christie, Maurice Compte, André Mattos, Roberto Urbina, Diego Cataño and Jorge A. Jimenez, among many others.
In November 2018, Netflix released a companion series to the original show. Titled Narcos: Mexico, the new show focuses on the development of Mexico’s illegal drug trade. The show’s three-season run wrapped up in November 2021 and featured performances by Michael Peña, Diego Luna, Tenoch Huerta Mejía, Alyssa Diaz, Joaquín Cosío, and José María Yazpik, just to name a few.
Where to watch Narcos
