New on Netflix this February: To All the Boys 2, Narcos: Mexico Season 2, Altered Carbon Season 2 & more

Romantic movies like Dear John, Fools Rush In, and The Notebook will also be available to stream next month

Netflix is adding a number of romance movies to its library this coming love month.

The much-awaited sequel to 2018’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before will arrive on the streaming giant on February 12th. Titled To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You, the rom-com continues the love story of Lara Covey (Lara Condor) and Peter Kavinsky (Noah Centineo) who are now a real couple after pretending to be one in the first film.

The romantic drama All the Bright Places will also be available to stream on the service starting February 28th. Based on Jennifer Niven’s novel of the same name, All The Bright Places tells the story of Violet Markey (Elle Fanning) and Theodore Finch (Justice Smith), which provides a refreshing take on the beauty and lasting impact of young love and how mental illness affects relationships.

Other February releases that are perfect for Valentine’s Day are the 2010 romantic drama-war film Dear John starring Channing Tatum Amanda Seyfried; Matthew Perry and Salma Hayek’s 1997 rom-com Fools Rush In; and the 2004 classic The Notebook starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams. All three flicks will arrive on Netflix on February 1st.

Of course, the streamer’s February movie lineup also includes titles from other genres. On the original front, Netflix will release Alison Brie’s drama film Horse Girl on February 7th and the spy thriller The Coldest Game starring Bill Pullman on February 8th.

Also coming to Netflix on February 1st are sci-fi classics Back to the Future Part III and Blade Runner: The Final Cut as well as Oscar-winning dramas The Pianist, Driving Miss Daisy, and Purple Rain. Additionally, comedy action films The Other Guys and Police Academy 1-7 will be available to stream on the same date.

Next month will also see the premiere of the supernatural horror series Locke & Key (February 7th), dramedy Gentefied (February 21st), and the fantasy drama I Am Not Okay with This (February 26th). All three series are Netflix originals.

Speaking of original Netflix series, Narcos: Mexico and Altered Carbon are also set to return to the streaming service next month. Season 2 of the biographical crime drama will premiere on February 13th, while the sophomore run of the cyberpunk series will arrive on the streaming service on February 27th. Season 4 of AMC’s Better Call Saul will be also be added to the streamer on February 9th.
