Two new affordable 5G devices join Motorola’s growing family of smartphones. Adding to the company’s moto g line, the moto g stylus 5G and moto g 5G will be arriving in North America soon.
The refreshed moto g stylus 5G is a more reachable alternative to Samsung’s stylus-carrying S22 Ultra. To that effect, the moto g stylus 5G comes equipped with a built-in stylus that easily pops out of the phone’s body.
With it, you can do the usual pen-related tasks like note-taking, annotations sketching, and more. Using the Moto Note app, users can even log notes without unlocking the phone.
There’s a lot of room for the stylus to roam on the device’s larger 6.8-inch Max Vision Full HD+ display. And as a first for the moto g series, a 120Hz high refresh rate is now offered on the moto g stylus 5G.
Inside, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor runs the show offering upload speeds up to 900Mps increase compared to the previous generation. For imaging, it offers a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization, macro vision lens, and wide-angle completes the rear setup. Around the front is a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
For battery, the moto g stylus 5G offers 5000mAh capacity with support for TurboPower charging.
If you want to stick to more essential features, the moto g 5G offers just that.
Also supporting fast 5G connectivity, the slightly smaller moto g 5G is built with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Like the moto g stylus, it also offers a 50-megapixel main camera with Macro Vision and a depth sensor to round out the rear system.
Storage goes up to 256GB and supports expansion up to 1TB. It also carries a similar 5,000mAh battery that can supposedly last up to 10 days!
Both devices come with Motorola’s My UX which allows deeper customization of preferences. Settings for entertainment, colors, fonts, and even gestures can be adjusted with a special feature such as swipe-to-split or peek notifications in place for easier navigation.
