Motorola is expanding its affordable and very popular moto g family with the new moto g pure. Boasting a big screen and long-lasting battery, the moto g pure offers essential features and capable hardware for an extremely low price.
The new moto g pure houses a large 6.5-inch Max Vision ultra-wide HD+ 269 PPI display with fairly narrow bezels. Its 4,000 mAh battery is capable of lasting up to two days and supports rapid charging for quick top-ups. The phone lacks 5G, but this is absolutely forgivable at its sub $200 pricepoint.
Equipped with dual cameras, the rear lenses come in the form of a 13-megapixel with phase detection autofocus and a depth sensor for more accurate cutouts and bokeh effects.
ThinkShield for Mobile ships with the device and offers enhanced protection. Inside, a MediaTek Helio G25 chipset powers the device.
The moto g pure is then finished with a water-repellent design to make it more durable through unfavorable weather. It also offers a 3.5mm headset jack.
As for availability, the moto g pure will be offered in universally unlocked units with pre-orders starting on October 14th for a very low price of $159 from Amazon or Motorola’s official site.
AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile will also offer the moto g pure. Switching to Metro b T-Mobile will also warrant a free moto g pure. The device will arrive in stores at a later date.
