The INBook X1 laptop series is an absolute steal

Inbook X1

Inifinix, which is known for its affordable smartphones, has unveiled its first-ever flagship laptop series, the INBook X1. This is the company’s first device in this segment and aims to bring a feature-filled “bespoke device” to its customers.

The INBook X1 series will first offer two models — the INBook X1 and the INBook Pro. Both devices in the series will feature a sandblasted, anodized body that’s crafted out of aircraft-grade aluminum. It has a 180-degree hinge onboard and is equipped with multiple ports for data transmission, charging, displays, and more. Both are available in Space Grey or Platinum Red.

The devices feature a 14-inch FHD IPS display with ultra-thin bezels of just 4.19mm on every side. The INBook X1 will be offered in two variants — Intel Core i3 and Intel Core i5. The INBook Pro will be offered with an Intel Core i7 CPU.

Keeping up with video calls won’t be a problem thanks to the devices’ WiFi 6, 720p webcam, and two arrays of digital microphones. Its also equipped with instant fingerprint unlocking, Bluetooth 5.1, and four-layer cavity stereos with DTS sound technology.

With its 55Wh battery, Infinix says the laptops should supply a full day’s use or about 11 hours of screen time. A 65W charger can also supply 70% power in just an hour.

The INBook X1 series is priced at just $530 and it will be available in Egypt, Indonesia, and Nigeria starting in June. There is no word on a U.S. release date, but with that low price tag, we hope it makes its way to the states.
