Illustrator and concept artist Fernanda Suarez has created an awesome illustrated series in which she draws what your favorite Disney princesses and villains would probably look like if they existed in 2020. Her magnificent artworks draw inspiration from contemporary trends set by her favorite style vloggers and brands.

“I wanted them to truly feel like people you would find on the streets nowadays,” Suarez said during her conversation with BuzzFeed.

Some of the artworks from Suarez’s Disney collection are featured in the slideshow above. But in addition to her works, the gallery also includes photos of models and their real-life moms dressed as Disney Princesses.

A collaboration between photographer Tony Ross and costume designer Nephi Garci, the photoshoot aimed to capture how Disney Princesses would look like if they aged and grew up like real people. What would Disney princesses look like as queen mothers? That was the question they tried to figure out in their unique and mesmerizing project.
