Has Charmed been canceled or renewed for season 4? 1

There are only a few episodes left before the season 3 finale of Charmed, and if you’re one of those fans who are wondering whether the fantasy drama series is returning for season 4, then we’re happy to let you know that the CW has already renewed the show for another season.

Charmed was one of the 12 scripted series that the network picked up for the 2021-22 television season last February. Three months later, the CW revealed that Charmed season 4 will be part of the network’s 2022 midseason programming.

Developed by Jennie Snyder Urman, Jessica O’Toole, and Amy Rardin, Charmed is a reboot of the Constance M. Burge-created series of the same name, which originally aired from 1998 to 2006 on The WB. The reboot follows the lives of three sisters — Macy (Madeleine Mantock), Mel (Melonie Diaz), and Maggie (Sarah Jeffery)— who, after the death of their mother, discover that they are The Charmed Ones. Dubbed as the most powerful trio of good witches, The Charmed Ones are destined to protect innocent lives from demons and other dark forces.

Just like in the original series, each sister in the reboot has an individual magical power, which is noticeably stronger when all three of them work together as the “Power of Three” to defeat their enemies. The sisters are aided by a Whitelighter named Harry Greenwood (Rupert Evans), who protects and guides witches.

In this week’s episode of Charmed, Maggie has a disturbing vision, forcing her and Macy to pay a visit to the future. Mel and Harry, meanwhile, struggle with challenging new circumstances. Check out the trailer for season 3, episode 15, Schrodinger’s Future below:
