The first official Game of Thrones studio tour will open to the public on February 4th, 2022.

Located at Linen Mill Studios in Banbridge, Northern Ireland, the Game of Thrones Studio Tour is a brand new 110,000-square-foot interactive experience that will transport fans into the very heart of Westeros to explore a wide array of breathtaking imagery, captivating sets, original props and costumes, and other behind-the-scenes elements that helped the HBO series become an international hit.

The immersive experience will allow fans to step inside the iconic Great Hall at Winterfell where Jon Snow was proclaimed the King in the North, see the stoic headquarters of the Night’s Watch, investigate the shadows within the Hall of Faces, and come face-to-face with Daenerys Targaryen’s imposing Dragonstone throne and many more authentic sets from all the eight seasons of the fantasy drama.

It will also let fans explore the unique makeup and prosthetics that defined the look of the characters and creatures living in the Seven Kingdoms and far beyond.

Furthermore, the Game of Thrones Studio Tour will share the tales behind the creation of the iconic weapons and the craftsmen who brought them to life, as well as explain how the intricately detailed outfits by the award-winning costume department helped create and define the show’s extraordinary cast of characters.

“We are thrilled to confirm the 4th February 2022 opening date of Game of Thrones Studio Tour at Linen Mill Studios and to officially launch global ticket sales,” said Andrew Webb and David Browne, Executive Directors at Linen Mill Studios. “This incredible and unique experience is set to bring the making of the show to life like never before and we look forward with much excitement to welcoming fans and visitors from near and far as we throw open the Studio Tour doors and start a new chapter in the Game of Thrones story here in Northern Ireland.  After many years as a closed and ‘off limits’ film studio, it is now time for fans from across the world to step inside the Seven Kingdoms and make their own personal journey through the world of Westeros at Linen Mill Studios.”

Game of Thrones Studio Tour will be open each week, Monday through to Sunday, except on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day.
