BTS and Mattel163 have teamed up for an UNO! Mobile in-game event featuring the world’s most popular South Korean boy band.

Unveiled on Tuesday, the collaboration sees BTS members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook taking over the digital version of the popular classic card game. Available on iOS, Android, and the Facebook app, the limited-time event hosts competitive and cooperative challenges that give ARMYs the chance to unlock rewards and collect tokens to use in the BTS-themed claw machine. Players can get up to four tokens each day, which they can use to draw rare BTS-themed items like card sleeves, voice packs, light sticks, game backgrounds, avatars, frames, medals, and more.

“We’re very excited to be working with BTS in the UNO! Mobile game,” said Amy Huang, CEO of Mattel163, the publishing and development studio from toy giant Mattel and Internet company NetEase. “Fans from around the world have loved the BTS-themed UNO playing cards. Now they will get to play in the digital game, where we have expanded the collectibles in a fun and interactive way.”

The abovementioned tangible BTS UNO cards were first unveiled at the American International Toy Fair in February 2019 and officially became available in July of that year.

Selling for $5.99, the BTS UNO cards are played with the same rules as the standard game. The BTS UNO card deck, however, includes an extra rule card called Dancing Wild. When a player uses the Dancing Wild card, the next player must perform their favorite BTS dance routine satisfactorily for the rest of the players or draw three cards. This deck of cards also features exclusive images of all the BTS members, while keeping the red, yellow, green, and blue colors of the classic cards.

A giant version of the BTS UNO cards was released last month.
