The latest collaboration between sportswear giant Adidas and Japanese fashion label Human Made is a new footwear silhouette inspired by traditional Kung Fu shoes.
Called Adidas x Human Made Pure Slip-On, the new silhouette has a subtle and cozy look that is perfect for the warm weather season. The uppers are made with soft and lightweight mesh material and are designed with Human Made’s iconic heart logo that is tonally embroidered onto the toe boxes.
Other details include embroidered Trefoil logo on the heels and a unique brown treading pattern of repeated Trefoil logos and crisscrossing lines on the outsoles. There’s also an “R” printed in an Oriental font style on the insole that apparently pays tribute to the Kung Fu footwear the slip-on is inspired by.
Releasing in three colorways, the Adidas x Human Made Pure Slip-On comes in Cream White, Wild Pine, and Core Black. All iterations sit atop a white full-length BOOST midsole, which provides an ultra-plush ride.
Priced at $160 a pair, the Adidas x Human Made Pure Slip-On will be available starting May 25th via adidas.com, the CONFIRMED app, and select retailers.
Next week’s launch of the Adidas x Human Made Pure Slip-On follows the release of the Adidas Originals x Human Made SS21 collection last month. The said lineup features three Adidas Originals Firebird tracksuits and three pairs of matching Adidas Originals Forums. Completing the collection are Country Free Hiker, graphic tees, and various accessories.
