A new limited-edition Xbox One X console has just been announced. Microsoft revealed the new Cyberpunk 2077-themed that’s slated for release months earlier than the actual game.
Cyberpunk 2077 is the newest offering from the same developers that brought The Witcher games to life. It follows the story of a mercenary V living and working in Night City. There’s been much hype surrounding the game since its announcement, not just because of the seemingly advanced gameplay but also because of Keanu Reeves playing one of the central characters, Johnny Silverhand.
In any case, this new Xbox One X design is vastly detailed and stands out among the rest of Microsoft’s other themed consoles. It houses custom-designed panels that are, of course, designed to fit the cyberpunk aesthetic. It’s plastered with a large “No Future” decal that glows in the dark and is enhanced by laser etchings, and blue LED lights.
There’s also a pretty cool custom controller included in the bundle. It sports the color scheme and design elements found on Johnny Silverhand’s cyborg arm. The controller is very fitting and is even detailed with scratches to further solidify that worn-out, cyberpunk feel. It also has “No Future” etched on the side to match the console.
This 1TB Xbox One X Cyberpunk 2077 limited edition bundle is set for release sometime in June, months before the game’s September release date, and will include a copy of the game as well as a download card. This is a great treat for fans who have been antsy because of the delayed release of the game. As for price, Microsoft still hasn’t released any details.
In the meanwhile, the themed Cyberpunk 2077 controller and Pro charging stand are already available for purchase.
Sadly, this may well be the very last limited edition Xbox One X console we’ll be seeing, since the company has already announced its next-gen console, the Xbox Series X, for release this holiday.
