Ryan Reynolds brought his mom, Tammy Reynolds, to last week’s red-carpet premiere of Red Notice, where she had a brief yet endearing encounter with her son’s co-star Gal Gadot.
The mom-and-son duo accidentally photobombed an interview between Gadot and Variety at some point during the event. And when Gadot noticed the pair passing behind her back, the actress stopped the interview for a while to quickly greet them. In a video shared by the news outlet on Twitter, Reynolds’ mom has a big smile on her face as she interacts with the Wonder Woman actress. “You look lovely,” Tammy appears to tell Gadot in the captured moment.

Written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, Red Notice follows FBI’s top profiler John Hartley (Dwayne Johnson) who is forced to partner with the world’s greatest art thief Nolan Booth (Ryan Reynolds) in order to catch an elusive crook known as The Bishop (Gal Gadot), who’s always one step ahead of everyone.
The comedy-action film is now showing in theaters and is set to make its streaming service debut on Netflix on November 12th. On Rotten Tomatoes, Red Notice currently has a critic rating of just 42% from a total of 71 reviews. Its audience score, meanwhile, is more promising: 92% from over 100 verified ratings.
Reynolds’ mom made headlines last December when the actor recruited her to trash talk Chris Hemsworth, as part of the promotion for AGBO Superhero League, a fantasy football league where superhero stars play to benefit various charitable organizations. Watch the hilarious curse-filled video below:
To my fellow @agboleague superhero fantasy football players. I don’t trash talk. Even if it’s “required”. Even if it benefits the astounding work of @sickkids hospital. Disparaging others isn’t what heroes do. I was raised to treat friends with respect. #ChrisHevansprine. pic.twitter.com/a6XsNvsRwt
