Backyard barbecues just got a lot more fun because Roku in partnership with Element Electronics has announced the release of their first-ever outdoor TV, and it’s a whole lot more affordable than the competition.

The Outdoor Element Roku TV is designed with a bright 700 nits, 55-inch screen that uses an anti-glare and tempered glass display. The IP55 weather protection makes the television water, dust, and humidity resistant.

“When designing the Element Patio Series TVs, we wanted to find a way to help people enjoy their outdoor spaces more,” stated Vlad Kazhdan, the President of Element Electronics.

Aside from having elemental protection, this device is designed to withstand high and low-temperature extremes.

The TV set also boasts powerful built-in speakers that can cut through outdoor noise or the sound of your neighbor’s lawnmower.

Of course, the Outdoor Element Roku TV runs on the exceptional Roku OS and features all of the popular streaming platforms. The home screen is customizable, and the TV comes with a remote that lets users search for content via voice search.
