The largest ever Roku TVs have arrived. TCL has just revealed its new XL collection which includes super-sized TVs that start at a massive 85-inches. With three variants in tow, the XL Collection will feature the company’s expertise in display technology and will be equipped with smart features as well.
First seen at CES, TCL will be offering three variants for their 85-inch Roku TVs. First in line is the 85-inch 4-Series TCL Roku TV. This base model offers what the company says is the “easiest way to enjoy 4K HDR streaming.
Those itching for more color and contrast can move up to the 85-inch QLED TCL Roku TV. This variant not only works using the company’s vibrant QLED display tech, it will also offer gamers features to make gaming sessions much more enjoyable. It’s equipped with variable refresh rate and a 120Hz HDMI input support for buttery smooth graphics.
Adding to its features is TCL’s Contrast Control Zones which optimizes the projected image for the best contrast. It also supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, Dolby Atmos, and HLG.
TCL also plans to add a third model later on this year. It will be an 85-inch OD Zero mini-LED 8K TV. TCL hasn’t disclosed details regarding this model nor have they announced a release date just yet.
The other models of the XL Collection in North America, starting with the 85-inch 4-Series TCL Roku TV (85R435), is available at various retailers. The 85-inch QLEX TCL Roku TV pre-orders are already ongoing at Best Buy and Amazon.
