Global sports company Puma and popular unboxing toy line L.O.L. Surprise! have teamed up once again for a new collection of playful and vibrant sneakers, arriving in time for the holiday season.
The latest collaboration between the two brands features two of the most iconic PUMA footwear styles: the Cruise Rider and the Future Rider.
The Cruise Rider leans into the pastel-filled physical appearance of the L.O.L. Surprise! character Bon Bon. Inspired by candy swirls and “unicorn” ice cream, the footwear’s upper features faint pink, pastel blue, and lilac colors. It is also adorned with a light-yellow bow on the back, which is a nod to Bon Bon’s iconic fancy dress.
The Future Rider, meanwhile, features the bright neon colors of the L.O.L. Surprise! character V.R.Q.T. Designed with ‘80s-inspired graphics, the sneaker’s colorful appearance is based on V.R.Q.T.’s hot pink hair, blue vest, neon yellow jumper, and the retro graphic heart print of her black long-sleeved shirt.
With a price range of $50-$70 a pair, both silhouettes will be available in toddler, kids, and junior sizing. Fans can get their hands on both shoe styles starting November 24th exclusively in-store and online at Kids Foot Locker, Foot Locker, Champs Sports, Footaction, PUMA.com, and the PUMA NYC Store.
As mentioned above, this isn’t the first time Puma and L.O.L. Surprise! have partnered for a footwear collab. Last November, the two brands co-created a Puma Future Rider silhouette based on the L.O.L. Surprise! character Diva, as well as a Puma Cali Sport silhouette inspired by L.O.L. Surprise! character Queen Bee.
MGA Entertainment, the parent company of L.O.L. Surprise!, has also announced that a complete Puma x L.O.L. Surprise! collection is set to be released in Spring 2022. The full collection will include additional Puma classic footwear styles and various bold apparel pieces that showcase famous L.O.L. Surprise! characters on graphic tees, leggings, hoodies, socks, and more.
