If you’re one of the many ’90s kids that grew up playing Barbie, then you might not want to miss this special sneaker collaboration between the popular doll brand and the sportswear company Puma.
To mark its 60th anniversary this year, Barbie has teamed up with Puma to create sneakers based on the personal style of the most renowned doll in the world. The collaboration resulted in two Puma Nova sneakers whose respective colorways were inspired by Barbie’s love for pink and the vibrant fashion trend during the ’90s.
Called Nova x Barbie Women’s Sneakers, the first pair features a ’90s-themed gradient design that moves from white to orchid pink with occasional patches of teal. Other portions of the upper have grid and polka dot textures, further solidifying the shoes’ ’90s vibes.
To add more character to the footwear, some parts of the tongue and the collar are colored in bright yellow. There’s also a vintage Barbie logo on the heel, which is adorned with a palm tree and overlapping geometric triangles.
These sneakers are now available for purchase on the Puma website for only $100 each pair. A kids’ version of this footwear called Nova x Barbie Sneakers PS is also available for $75 each.
The second pair from the collaboration is called Nova x Barbie Flash Women’s Sneakers. Unlike the first pair, the upper of this shoe is mostly white in color. But it’s definitely not boring, as it features lots of 90s Barbie-inspired graphics, including the spray-painted Barbie logo on the side, the contrast graphics on the interior lining, and the rainbow-colored print stripe on the heel. These shoes sell for only $90 a pair.

Both sneakers from the collaboration are actually part of a wider collection of Puma x Barbie merchandise, which includes track jackets ($85), leggings ($65), shorts ($50), and tees ($35).
