For the first time in five years, Pepsi has added a new permanent flavored cola to its product offerings.
The beverage company announced on Thursday that regular and zero sugar varieties of Pepsi Mango will be available in 12-ounce 12 packs and 20-ounce bottles at grocery stores, mass retailers, and convenience stores nationwide starting March 22nd.
Pepsi Mango combines the bright citrus and rich caramel notes of an ice-cold Pepsi and the ripe, juicy flavors of mango. This new flavor launch marks Pepsi’s first permanent release of a regular and zero sugar variety at the same time.
“Our consumers are always looking for new and exciting flavors, so we couldn’t be more excited to introduce them to Pepsi Mango. Our team has created a surprisingly perfect match with Pepsi Mango, combining the delicious taste of Pepsi cola with the flavor of a sweet, juicy mango,” said Todd Kaplan, vice president of marketing at Pepsi, in a statement. “Mango is one of the most popular fruits in the world, and it serves as the perfect complement to Pepsi, creating an irresistible combination that our fans can enjoy everywhere throughout the year.”
To support Pepsi Mango’s nationwide rollout, the company released a TV and web commercial set to Jason Derulo’s groovy top 40 hit song Take You Dancing.
Inspired by the company’s discovery that Pepsi and mango make a perfect match, Pepsi is also launching a campaign dedicated to helping real people find their perfect match. Starting in early April, Pepsi is turning its advertising inventory on select social media platforms into real dating advertorials for a number of interesting, young singles.
Partly based on the video dating fad of the ‘80s, the online campaign will introduce the singles to the world with fun personality introductions and contact information so other singles at home can shoot their shot. Pepsi said it will create avenues to ship as many pairs as possible to help singles find their perfect match, like Pepsi and mango.

Lastly, in collaboration with its longtime partners at ViacomCBS and its in-house branded content studio Velocity, Pepsi will also unveil a fully integrated perfect match themed series in April, which will star some of the most beloved dating reality show stars in the country. More details about the series will be announced in the coming weeks.
