Pepsi is redefining the cola category with its latest innovation called Nitro Pepsi.
Described as the beverage brand’s “most ambitious feat yet,” Nitro Pepsi is the first-ever nitrogen-infused cola that’s actually softer than a soft drink. Creamy and smooth, Nitro Pepsi features a mesmerizing cascade of tiny bubbles topped off by a frothy foam head.
What makes Nitro Pepsi different from traditional colas?
Nitro Pepsi’s nitrogen-infused smaller bubbles, which create the cola’s unbelievably smooth and creamy texture, are made possible by a unique widget placed at the bottom of every can. Often seen in beer and coffee products, this type of widget technology has never been used on any cola products until now. Pepsi first announced its intent to use this nitro technology back in 2019 and has been working tirelessly to build out this innovation ever since.
Furthermore, Nitro Pepsi does not look and taste like traditional colas. It is best consumed differently as well.
How to best enjoy Nitro Pepsi
While Nitro Pepsi can be consumed directly from the can, there are a few details fans should remember for optimal consumption. Nitro Pepsi is best served cold, ideally without ice. It is also best “hard poured” or fully inverted into a tall glass. Lastly, it is best enjoyed sipped directly from the glass rather than through a straw, allowing the unique foam head to leave a frothy, foamy mustache.
Does Nitro Pepsi come in different flavors?
Nitro Pepsi will be available in two delicious flavors, Draft Cola and Vanilla Draft Cola, in newly designed cans in both single-serve and 4-pack varieties.
When will Nitro Pepsi come out?
Nitro Pepsi will be available at retail stores nationwide starting March 28th. Supporting the rollout will be a fully integrated marketing campaign that includes a national television commercial, which reinforces the uniquely smooth and creamy experience of Nitro Pepsi. You can watch the ad below:
