A coffee-inspired Oreo flavor is hitting shelves next month.
Exclusively announced on TikTok last Wednesday, the new Oreo Mocha Caramel Latte will be available for purchase at retail stores across the U.S. starting this April.
What is Oreo Mocha Caramel Latte?
A playful take on the eponymous coffeehouse favorite, Oreo Mocha Caramel Latte combnes the flavors of chocolate, coffee, and caramel for a rich munchable snack. The one-of-a-kind flavor features Oreo’s signature chocolate sandwich cookies filled with not one, but two layers of crème: mocha latte and caramel.
While these sweet treats can be enjoyed as they are, thrill-seeking Oreo fans can crush the cookies and add them on top of their favorite iced coffee for some extra sweetness in the morning or for a delightful afternoon pick-me-up.
Is Oreo Mocha Caramel Latte a permanent flavor?
Like most unique Oreo flavors, these Mocha Caramel Latte cookies are limited edition and will only be available while supplies last. So make sure to grab some when you see them on your next grocery run.
Other coffee-inspired Oreo flavors
Oreo Mocha Caramel Latte is not the first coffee-inspired Oreo flavor. Within the past few years, Nabisco dropped Oreo Thins Latte, Oreo Tiramisu, and Oreo Java Chip.
Oreo’s 110th anniversary
The April 2022 release of Oreo Mocha Caramel Latte will follow the launch of Oreo Chocolate Confetti Cake, which was unveiled last March 6th in celebration of the 110th anniversary of the cookie brand.
The Oreo Chocolate Confetti Cake is Oreo’s first-ever limited-edition offering to feature rainbow sprinkles both in and on the cookie. It has two layers of crème filling: the beloved vanilla crème fans know and love, mixed with sprinkles, and a rich chocolate cake-flavored crème.
