Fundraising firm Omaze and spaceflight company Virgin Galactic are giving away two seats on one of mankind’s first commercial voyages to space.

Anyone over the age of 18 can enter this Omaze sweepstakes until September 1st for a chance to win two seats on a Virgin Galactic spaceflight.

The winner, together with one guest, will board a Virgin Galactic spaceship where they will take off smoothly like an airplane and watch as the colors outside the windows change from blue to indigo to midnight black.

While hovering above Earth, the winners will be able to enjoy the breathtaking views of our home planet and its surrounding galaxy. They will also experience weightlessness and see themselves floating through space in a mirror installed on the cabin of the spaceship.

The cabin is also equipped with HD cameras that will record the winners’ journey in space. The spaceship has a total of 17 circular windows for viewing, so every seat is basically a window seat.

Following a smooth glide descent on Earth, the winners will be flown to the home of Spaceport America in New Mexico (hotel included), where they will be joined by Virgin Galactic founder Richard Branson for a personal VIP tour.

While no donation or payment is necessary to enter or win this sweepstakes, people who want to increase their chances of winning can donate to the non-profit organization Space for Humanity in exchange for more entries. A $10 donation is equivalent to 100 entries, $25 is equal to 250 entries, $50 to 1000 entries, and $100 to 2000 entries.

Founded in 2017 by Dylan Taylor, Space for Humanity has a mission to expand access to space, train leaders of tomorrow, and contribute to a culture of interconnectedness. By sending citizens to space, and hosting relevant conversations and events, Space for Humanity cultivates a global network of transformational leaders better equipped to create a sustainable future for humanity.

Though the winner of the sweepstakes is set to be announced around September 29th, Virgin Galactic has yet to release details on when the flight will take place.

The sweepstakes was officially launched just a day after Branson and three other Virgin Galactic employees went to space as passengers on July 11th, marking the first time a spaceflight company founder has traveled on his own ship into outer space.
