Mountain Dew is entering the condiment market.
The soda brand announced on Monday that it is making a limited-edition hot sauce with hot sauce retailer iBurn and NBA star Joel Embiid. And to let fans choose the base flavor for the concoction, Mountain Dew launched a Twitter poll with four heat options: Peri-Peri, Fatalii, Habanero, and Datil. As hot sauce lovers know, Fatalli is the hottest among the four, followed by Habanero, Datil, and Peri-Peri, respectively. Fans can cast their votes until the end of the month.

While no other details about the hot sauce have been revealed, iBurn owner James Beck, aka the Hot Sauce Boss, assured fans that they’re going to like the final product. “Nah, we’re developing a true gourmet hot sauce. It’s going to be amazing,” Beck replied to a fan who expressed concerns about what the Mountain Dew hot sauce would taste like.

The condiment doesn’t have an exact release date yet, but ComicBook.com reported that it will be available “before you know it.”
The announcement that Mountain Dew is developing a hot sauce comes just two weeks after the soft drink brand revealed that it has teamed up with seafood restaurant chain Red Lobster for PepsiCo’s first-ever Mountain Dew-flavored alcoholic beverage called DEW Garita.
DEW Garita combines the flavors of Mountain Dew and traditional margarita, making it the perfect pair for Red Lobster’s iconic Cheddar Bay Biscuits. The cocktail will start to become available at select Red Lobster locations by the end of the month, with a nationwide rollout planned by the end of the year.
