PepsiCo is releasing a zero sugar version of Mountain Dew Frost Bite.

Though an official announcement has yet to be made, the new soft drink is already listed on the company’s website, complete with a photo of its 20-ounce bottle. The packaging of the zero sugar version is similar to that of the original Mountain Dew Frost Bite with the shark graphic on the label. But unlike the non-zero-sugar one, the bottle of the sugar-free beverage has a black label and cap.

Popular snack-tracking Instagram account @CandyHunting also obtained a photo of Zero Sugar Frost Bite alongside the regular variant, and the caption of the image reveals that the former “is expected to launch in early spring.”

Initially planned to be released as a limited time offer from March to June 2020, Mountain Dew Frost Bite ultimately became an exclusive permanent flavor at Walmart stores in the U.S. for the rest of the year. PepsiCo employees previously stated that its status past 2020 depends on its success at Walmart.

Cobalt blue in color, Mountain Dew Frost Bite is described as “a burst of icy refreshment and cool melon.” It is the second Mountain Dew flavor exclusively released at a retail store, the first being Maui Burst at Dollar General stores.

“Dollar General fans have always embraced the Mountain Dew Maui Burst flavor with enthusiasm. Their excitement translated on social media and at the registers,” Mountain Dew marketing chief Nicole Portwood said in a statement last January. “We’re thrilled to respond to fans by making Maui Burst permanently available at Dollar General.”

News that a zero sugar version of Mountain Dew Frost Bite is coming out soon comes a week after PepsiCo officially added Major Melon to its line of permanent Mountain Dew flavors.

“Watermelon is a truly transportive taste, evoking feelings of freedom and nostalgia,” Mountain Dew marketing VP Nicole Portwood said in a statement. “As a brand, Mountain Dew is always pushing the envelope to bring DEW Nation the next bold taste that they crave in a way only DEW can. We found watermelon to be the number one choice of flavors tested amongst our fans, and Mountain Dew Major Melon is our answer for those who are looking for a refreshing charge to keep them invigorated all day long.”
