Monster High is celebrating Pride Month with its first-ever capsule collection.
What is Monster High Pride Collection?
Launched today, May 31st, the Monster High Pride Collection is a line of officially licensed merchandise items featuring the characters of the beloved doll brand.
Authenticity and self-expression are deeply rooted in the Monster High experience, so to create the brand’s debut capsule collection, Mattel, the parent company of Monster High, enlisted the artistry of two LGBTQ+ artists: Lou Choquette and Cheyne Gallarde. With styles as unique as they are Choquette and Gallarde create custom Monster High-inspired designs, celebrating their individuality and unique connection to the doll brand’s series

“I drew up this illustration visualizing celebration. And even the type is dancing, too – I made sure that it had a lot of motion and movement to I,” said Gallarde on the T-shirt’s design. In celebration of celebration, from May 31st until June 30th, for each Monster High Pride Capsule Collection item sold, Mattel will donate $1 (up to $15K) to GLAAD, the world’s largest LGBTQ media advocacy organization.
