Legendary boxer Mike Tyson has released a line of marijuana edibles in the shape of ears via his newly launched cannabis company called Tyson 2.0.
In homage to the infamous 1997 WBA Heavyweight Championship fight, in which Tyson bit off a chunk of Evander Holyfield’s ear, Tyson 2.0’s ear-shaped, cannabis-infused gummies are called Mike Bites.

Mike Tyson vs. Evander Holyfield
Holyfield, the only four-time world heavyweight champion in the history of boxing, defeated Tyson in a match at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas back in 1996. During their highly anticipated rematch in 1997, Tyson bit off a small section of Holyfield’s ear, spit it onto the canvas, and was promptly disqualified.
Though the bizarre incident made the fight one of the goriest boxing moments ever, Tyson and Holyfield have since patched things up. In 2013, the two starred in a funny Foot Locker ad together, and in 2014, Tyson was the one who delivered the speech for Holyfield’s induction into the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame.

Mike Tyson’s relationship with cannabis
Tyson has been very open about his cannabis use. In 2019, the former boxing heavyweight champion revealed that he spends $40,000 a month on weed at his 40-acre cannabis ranch, which he opened in 2018 after California legalized recreational marijuana.
Tyson 2.0’s website also indicates that “when Mike was in his prime, he used cannabis to relax his body and focus his mind.”
