The Mean Girls Experience: All the details we know so far
Bucket Listers, the digital media brand behind many exciting pop-ups, has partnered with Paramount Pictures for The Mean Girls Experience.
“There was nothing more grool than the chance to bring the world of Mean Girls to life,” said Derek Berry, president of experiences at Bucket Listers, in a statement. “It’s truly one of those movies that has stood the test of time and cult fandom. With the new film quickly approaching, there was no better time to honor this beloved classic and bring The Plastics’ world to life. Every day here will be October 3rd.”
The Menu
Described as a “fast-casual restaurant of chef-driven cafeteria-style fare,” The Mean Girls Experience will serve a selection of exquisite delicacies inspired by North Shore High School and its diverse students. Created by MasterChef semi-finalist chef Becky Brown, the dishes are playfully named after the movie’s most iconic lines and moments, including the Burn Book Burger Sliders, the Stab Caesar Salad, and 1 3 5 Acai Bowl. A variety of appropriately themed desserts like the Kälteen Brownie, Rainbow + Smiles Cake, Is Butter a Carb? Cookies, and the Fetch Strudel will also be available.
Other attractions
Aside from the dining experience, fans will also be able to take photos amid recreations of the original film’s sets. They can explore the Mean Girls Museum, which will display set pieces and iconic outfits from the movie. There will also be a Cool Mom Bar, whose happy hour will be from 4-6.
Attendees can also channel the Plastics and perform Jingle Bell Rock by taking the stage at the Winter Talent Show. Lastly, in true Regina George fashion, there will also be plenty of shopping to be done with exclusive Mean Girls merchandise available to purchase.
