Lotus Bakeries, the makers of the world famous Biscoff cookies and the original cookie butter, is finally bringing its line of super-premium ice cream to the U.S.
According to a press release, the company’s “quintessential” Lotus Biscoff ice cream combines dairy cream with crunchy Biscoff cookies, and the original cookie butter.
The ice cream line includes pint and bar variants. The ice cream pints come in 5 different flavors: Original, Chocolate Brownie, Salted Caramel, Belgian Chocolate Chip, and Blueberry Cheesecake. The ice cream bar, meanwhile, will initially come in 1 irresistible flavor at launch.
Described by the company as “heaven on a stick,” the Lotus Biscoff ice cream bar has an original cookie butter ice cream at its center, which is dipped in a layer of delicious cookie butter, and then enrobed in a creamy layer of Belgian chocolate.
All products in the Lotus Biscoff ice cream line have no added colors and use carefully selected non-GMO and RBST-free ingredients.
Lotus Biscoff ice cream has been available in Europe for quite some time. According to Cosmopolitan UK, the ice cream line was first released in the Netherlands in 2017. And as Metro reported, people in the U.K. got to taste the ice cream bar variant for the first time in February this year.
