Hulu is offering its ad-supported plan for only 99 cents per month for a limited time
Hulu usually introduces a huge price cut on its ad-supported subscription plan every Thanksgiving weekend, and this year is no different.
Launched last Black Friday and expiring on Cyber Monday at 11:59 p.m. PST, Hulu’s 2021 Thanksgiving Weekend Deal lets viewers get the streamer’s ad-supported service for just 99 cents per month for an entire year, making it only $11.88 for the total 12 months. Ad-supported Hulu has a base price of $6.99 per month, so signing up now will save you $72 or about 85% of the regular price on a year-long subscription.
The offer is only valid for new and returning subscribers who have not used the service in the last month. After the one-year deal is up, the subscription fee will revert to the normal $6.99 per month unless it is canceled, which can be done anytime.
Hulu’s 2021 Thanksgiving Weekend Deal cannot be redeemed via gift card and cannot be combined with any free trial of the ad-supported plan or any other promotional offers or pricing. Though you can switch plans after redeeming this offer, doing so will result in forfeiture of the discount pricing.
This holiday deal is the lowest price potential Hulu subscribers can find all year, so there’s really no better time to sign up for the Disney-owned streaming service than now.
Although the offer is only for the ad-supported plan, which includes commercials, the basic package already gives you access to Hulu’s entire library, including original series, such as the dystopian drama The Handmaid’s Tale, anthology horror series American Horror Story, romantic drama Love, Victor, and the mystery-comedy series Only Murders in the Building. You can also catch episodes from series by broadcast and cable networks such as ABC, AMC, BBC America, Comedy Central, Discovery, Fox, Freeform, FX, NBC, National Geographic, and TBS on the streamer a day after their original release.
Ad-supported Hulu subscription also lets you watch thousands of movies, including Hulu originals like Plan B, Palm Springs, and The United States vs. Billie Holiday. Recently released flicks like Sleepless in Seattle, The Prestige, Deapool, and Deadpool 2, as well as the original Coen Brothers film Fargo are also available to stream on Hulu.
If you’re looking for even more options, Hulu also offers add-on subscriptions to Disney+, ESPN+, Showtime, HBO Max, Cinemax, and Starz from $6.99 to $14.99 per month. Hulu with live TV options, with over 75 channels available, is also available for a higher fee.
