Since its launch earlier this month, Disney’s newest streaming platform, Disney+ hit the ground running. Within 24 hours of its launch, the service amassed about 10 million subscribers and is shaping up to be one of Netflix’s biggest rivals to date. As a matter of fact, it has turned out to be such a threat to Netflix that Netflix quickly pursued a partnership with Nickelodeon to gain leverage over the new streaming platform.

But with Netflix still being a household staple, Disney+ has been making ways for new users to test out, and hopefully subscribe, to the service. Currently, they offer a free one-week subscription to new users and they also have a running partnership with Verizon that offers one year of Disney+ for free to Verizon subscribers with an unlimited plan.

Now, Google has announced that they will be offering a free three months subscription to Disney+ to anyone who purchases a new Chromebook. This offer is only valid for Chromebooks activated between November 25th, 2019 through January 30th, 2020, and it’s limited to residents of the United States despite Disney+ being available in other countries.

The offer, however, is only eligible to new subscribers; a fairly common policy seen in a number of subscription-based platforms such as Spotify or Netflix. It’s also important to note that a valid credit card is required because once the offer is redeemed, you will be automatically enrolled in the auto-renewing monthly subscription. This means that you’ll have to watch out for the end date of your free 3-month subscription if you don’t want to be charged an additional $6.99 per month. Subscribers, of course, are entitled to cancel any time even before their free period is due.

Once you’ve purchased a Chromebook, you can head over to the Google Chromebooks Offers Site to activate your Disney+ subscription.
