Following their last year’s successful collaboration that marked Sanrio’s 60th anniversary, Dr. Marsten and Hello Kitty have teamed up once again for an all-new shoe collection. But this time, the Japanese icon is joined by her friends Badtz-Maru, Keroppi, My Melody, Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, and the Little Twin Stars. Called Dr. Martens x Hello Kitty and Friends, the collab includes new takes on the 1460 boots, Jadon boots, 1461 shoes, and kids’ 1460 boots.
Dr. Martens x Hello Kitty and Friends 1460 Boots
Featuring adorable graphics of Sanrio characters and Hello Kitty’s signature red bow, these boots come with two sets of laces in red and white. Their uppers are also detailed with a three-color puritan stitch in teal, yellow, and pink. And like all authentic Dr. Martens shoes, these boots have a yellow welt stitching and an AirWair heel loop.
Dr. Martens x Hello Kitty and Friends Jadon Boots
Built on a stacked Quad platform sole, this new version of Dr. Martens’ 8-eye silhouette is adorned with colorful upper stitching, four different color eyelets, and Sanrio character graphics. The boots also feature a side zip with a Hello Kitty red bow zip pull. Like the 1460 boots, these shoes also come with two sets of laces and sport yellow welt stitching and an AirWair heel loop.
Dr. Martens x Hello Kitty and Friends 1461 Shoes
Decked out with a striking all-over print of Hello Kitty and Friends, these 3-eye shoes feature heart-shaped eyelets and a heart key chain. Like the first two boots in the collection, these shoes also come with two sets of laces and are marked with yellow welt stitching and an AirWair heel loop.
Dr. Martens x Hello Kitty and Friends Kids’ 1460 Boots
The only kids’ shoes in the collection, these boots feature the same Sanrio-themed all-over print found on the uppers of the 1461 shoes. They are also fitted with Hello Kitty bows on the zip, and are tagged with yellow stitching and an AirWair heel loop. These boots also have heart-shaped eyelets and come with two matching pairs of laces in red and black.
The entire Dr. Martens x Hello Kitty and Friends will be available at select stores and via DrMartens.com starting March 4th.
