Dr. Martens has teamed up once again with Japanese clothing brand Needles to create a new iteration of its original 2976 Chelsea Boot.

Called the 2976 Snaffle NDLS, the Dr. Martens x Needles Chelsea boot collaboration is adorned with old-school Americana motifs that give the classic shoe silhouette an unorthodox look.

Coming in both Black Smooth leather and Cherry Red, the 2976 Snaffle NDLS features a print of Needles’ trademark “Papillon” butterfly on the lateral side of the heel, just above Dr. Martens’ iconic yellow stitching.

The 2976 Snaffle NDLS is also decked out with a Needles tassel on the tongue, which brings more vintage vibes to the boot. The old-fashioned tassel comes in brushed silver on the Black Smooth variant and comes in antique gold on the Cherry Red version.

Made in England in Dr. Martens’ original Wollaston factory, the 2976 Snaffle NDLS features a dual-branded sock liner and is finished with the footwear brand’s signature black and yellow heel loop.

Priced at $280 a pair, the Dr. Martens x Needles Chelsea boot collaboration will be available in a full range of adult sizing in select Dr. Martens stores and on drmartens.com from Saturday, February 27th.

Dr. Martens and Needles first partnered in 2017, but they most recently joined forces for the Dr. Martens x Needles 1460 Boot, which was launched last August. Featuring a striking black and purple colorway, the eight-eye lace-up boot collab is stamped with Needles’ signature side stripe and butterfly logo, and comes with purple and metallic sets of laces.
