After being delayed for almost a year, Avengers Campus is finally opening on June 4th at Disney California Adventure. While a lot of fans are excited about the attractions in Disney Parks’ first-ever Marvel-themed land, some guests are particularly interested in the specialty food that will be available in the new park area.
The menus of restaurants inside the Avengers Campus had been unveiled months before its original opening date in July 2020, and while all dishes, meals, and drinks look super in their own ways, one main course from Pym Test Kitchen has caught the attention of several fans, primarily because of its massive size.
Aptly called Quantum-sized Pym-ini Sandwich, the $100 entrée features salami, rosemary ham, provolone cheese, and sun-dried tomato spread on toasted focaccia. Made for six to eight people, the family-sized sandwich is served with a marinara dipping sauce and an arugula salad. For solo guests, the restaurant is offering a regular-sized version of the Pym-ini sandwich for only $15.
Inspired by the Ant-Man film series, Pym Test Kitchen offers menu items that have been sized down or up, like the Quantum-sized Pym-ini Sandwich. In the movies, Ant-Man and The Wasp use Pym Particles to grow and shrink just about anything, and that apparently serves as the inspiration for Pym Test Kitchen’s shareable bites and inventive-sized entrées.
In addition to Pym-ini sandwiches, Pym Test Kitchen also offers a giant meatball served on a huge metal spoon and a Caesar salad that comes with a huge crouton.
Aside from Pym Test Kitchen, other eateries located inside the Avengers Campus are Shawarma Palace and Terran Treats.
