The Outpost season 3 ended its 13-episode run almost two months ago, but will there be an Outpost season 4?

Last September, three weeks before the October 8th season 3 premiere of The Outpost, executive producer Dean Devlin revealed on Twitter that The CW had ordered 13 more episodes of the fantasy-adventure series.

Though the network is not calling the episode order a season renewal but rather an additional 13 episodes of season 3, Devlin confirmed in two separate tweets that they were treating the new batch of as season 4.

Plot details about season 4 are being kept under wraps, but with the death of Gwynn (Imogen Waterhouse) in season 3, fans may probably see Talon (Jessica Green) taking over her best friend’s role as ruler of the titular outpost. But since Falista (Georgia May Foote) was related to Gwynn by blood, that gives her more claim to the throne than Talon, and that could create tension between the two.

Who will be in The Outpost season 4?

In addition to Green and Foote, the following cast members are also expected to reprise their roles in season 4: Jake Stormoen as Garret, Anand Desai-Barochia as Janzo, Glynis Barber as Gertrusha, Reece Ritchie as Zed, Izuka Hoyle as Wren, Jaye Griffiths as Yavalla, and Adam Johnson as Munt, among many others.

Season 3 was supposed to air last summer but was delayed until the fall of last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
