When will Disneyland Paris reopen? 1

Disneyland Paris reopened last summer after it was shut down in early 2020 due to the threat of COVID-19. However, the park closed its doors once again last October after the French government ordered a temporary closure of theme parks following a resurgence of COVID-19 cases. But now that things are starting to look up in the French capital, Disneyland Paris has started to prep for its upcoming reopening.

Disney Parks announced on Monday morning that Disneyland Paris, along with Disneyland Park, Walt Disney Studios Park, Disney’s Newport Bay Club, and Disney Village, will be reopening to the public on June 17th.

But to ensure the health and safety of everyone, all visitors aged 6 years and over, cast members, and service providers will be required to wear a mask inside the park. Physical distancing will also be implemented in queues, ride vehicles, shops, hotels, restaurants, and other facilities throughout the park. Signages will also be displayed in key areas to remind guests and park employees alike.

“We have all been dreaming of this moment,” said Disneyland Paris president Natacha Rafalski of the park’s highly anticipated reopening. “The moment we can reunited and enjoy unforgettable moments with our family and friends. Disneyland Paris reopens, our guests will be able to enjoy the outstanding experiences we are known for, from iconic attractions and new heart-warming character moments to unique interactions with our cast members and even a few surprises along the way.”

On June 21st, just four days after the reopening of Disneyland Paris, Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel will be accommodating guests for the first time, with sales opening on May 18th. Located inside Disneyland Paris, Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel is a 4-star hotel designed as a New York art gallery that honors the city and home of Spider-Man and several other Marvel superheroes.

“Our guests will discover and be amazed by our brand-new Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, the only hotel in the world dedicated to Marvel art, offering a premium, incredibly immersive and one-of-a-kind experience,” Rafalski added. “We are looking forward to celebrating these milestones together with our Cast and Guests in a few weeks.”

Aside from the reopening of Disneyland Paris and the grand opening of The Art of Marvel hotel, guests will also be able to try the park’s newest immersive Cars-themed attraction called Cars Road Trip.
